🚑🌟 For over 76 years, the Belvidere Ambulance Corps has been a steadfast responder to emergency calls in Belvidere, White Township, and neighboring areas. Our team, comprising dedicated men and women, tackles various emergencies, relying heavily on our equipment to serve the community effectively. 🚒👩⚕️👨⚕️
As the world evolves with new knowledge and innovations, we, too, strive to stay current with the latest and best equipment. 🌍💡 Over the course of each year, our 21 Rescue equipment endures significant wear and tear, necessitating either repairs or replacements. These upgrades are crucial, and we heavily depend on the annual donations we receive to make this possible. 💪🔧
A piece of our heart, Ambulance 21-52, has been with us since 2000. This special vehicle not only served our local community but also played a role in the aftermath of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, by the Hudson River. 🇺🇸🚑 Wearing its 9/11 badge with honor, 21-52 has been a symbol of resilience and service. However, time spares no one, and it’s nearing the end of its service life. ⏳
In anticipation of retiring 21-52, we made the significant decision to add a new ambulance to our fleet, 21-54, in 2020. This joyful addition 🎉 was welcomed in June by our members, 21 Rescue, 21 Fire, and the mayors of both Belvidere and White Township. In the following months, we equipped it with new gear and made sure our team was thoroughly trained, especially with the new power load stretcher and other upgraded features. 🆕🛠️
This achievement was made possible thanks to the generous, continuous support from our community. 🤝💖 The financial commitment to purchase and fully equip a new ambulance was substantial, but the unwavering support of our kind and faithful residents made it a reality. We are deeply grateful for the emotional, physical, and financial backing from each and every one of you. Your support fuels our mission and enables us to serve better. 🙏💕
